Family Dollar Stores, Inc., with headquarters in Matthews, recently announced that its new Executive Vice President—Chief Merchandising Officer is Jason Reiser. It is most likely that Family Dollar is using a variety of printing services to make the announcement of this promotion for Reiser to the community.
Reiser will be reporting to the Chairman and CEO of the company, Howard R. Levine. According to Levine, Reiser was chosen for the position as his leadership, experience in merchandising and understanding of the company’s customers will help Family Dollar to refine the items which the store sells so as to increase the frequency of customer trips and share of the marketplace.
Resier originally worked for Walmart Stores, Inc. for 17 years in a variety of positions, his last one being the Sam’s Club Vice President, Merchandising, Health and Family Care. He joined Family Dollar in July 2013 as Senior Vice President for Merchandising and was responsible for the beauty, health, household products and personal care teams. He was promoted in October 2013 to Lead Merchandising Officer and became responsible for all functions with regard to merchandising.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University.
