Business-related events make for jam-packed Matthews week

Several events of a business nature are occurring in the Matthews area this week, and most likely a variety of printing services are being used by the respective organizations to announce their events to the business community.

This Thursday, November 21, the Matthews Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Business Networking event at the Costco in Matthews. This event is held every third Thursday of the month, and this month’s guest speaker is Kim Rhodarmer of Matthews Help Center.

Also on Thursday, the York County Chamber of Commerce will holding a resource fair for small businesses that will enable them to consult and network with other organizations in the area that can be of service. It will be held at the DiGorgio Campus Center of Winthrop University, with a number of local providers in attendance.

Business After Hours-Matthew will also be held on Thursday and will start the holiday season with the Festival of Trees and a networking session with members of the Matthews Chamber of Commerce. There will be a reception in the solarium, followed by a walk through Christmas trees in the Matthews area, which have been decorated by local firms. The event will be held at the Novant Health – Matthews Medical Center Solarium.

Lastly, the Gaston College Small Business Center will be holding its seminar titled ‘Marketing III – Great Expectations’ which helps businesses to develop marketing plans in line with their resources. The Thursday seminar is free and is taking place on the Kimbrel Campus.
