Greensboro Cultural Center to feature holiday crafters’ market
November 24, 2011 by Mark
On December 4, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. the Greensboro Cultural Center will be alive with the sights and sounds of this year’s Holiday Crafters’ Market. Would-be shoppers who are unsure about the admission price won’t need to worry in light of the fact that both parking and admission are free of charge. Inside the Cultural Center, residents will likely be able to observe a bit banner printing as well as the work of local brochure printers in producing business hand-outs for the event and its suppliers.
As per the site:
“Well-known artisans and crafters from across the Piedmont will be on hand selling unique handmade items, perfect for that special holiday gift, such as birdhouses, holiday ornaments, notepads, note cards, hair accessories, picture frames, hula hoops, jewelry, yard and garden follies, holiday gnomes, scented soaps, artwork, decorative boots and much more.”
The sheer number of items for sale alone, should make it possible for shoppers to not only find the perfect gift for the holidays but to also purchase enough presents to last the rest of the year. Whether an individual leans towards practical items or is more interested in buying things that place greater emphasis on craft and artistry, there’s something in this craft sale for everyone. That alone makes the Holiday Crafters’ Market a worthwhile event for those who leave their shopping to the last minute as well as those who are planning for special events that take place throughout the year.
If any individuals don’t have any set plans for December 4th, the Greensboro Cultural Center is a great place to visit.
