In the upcoming New Year, there are many pet events and adoption fairs that are planned in the Burlington area and the various organizations are most likely turning to flyer printing to let people in Burlington and the surrounding communities become aware of these events.
On an ongoing basis, the Carolina Veterinary Assistance and Adoption Group will be available in the afternoons every day of the week from noon until 6:00 p.m. at PetSmart stores in Burlington, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Asheboro so people can get information and assistance with pet adoptions. In Greensboro, at Fishers Grille and The Corner Slice, every Monday night is “Doggie Night” for dogs to have food and fun on the patio. The Red Dog Farm will receive eight per cent of all food sales.
Every Saturday in Greensboro, many pet organizations will be holding events and activities. There will be the North Carolina Pet Adoption League at the PetSmart Lawndale Drive location from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the Cats Cradle Adoption Program at the PetSmart Bridford Parkway from noon until 4:00 p.m. Also at the PetSmart Lawndale Drive location will be the North Caroline Cat Adoption Team from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. At 1701 Pleasant Ridge there will be Finding Great Homes for Jack Russell Terriers from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The Humane Society of Alamance County will be at the PetSmart University Drive location in Burlington on Saturdays from noon until 4:00 p.m. for cats only and the Animal Awareness Society will be in Winston-Salem at 311 Harvey Street from noon until 4:00 p.m.
