Durham Chamber Legislative Forum and Holiday Reception takes place December 6
November 21, 2011 by Mark
As per the website:
“The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors cordially invite you to attend the 2011 Legislative Forum & Holiday Reception on Tuesday, December 6.”
Sponsored by companies such North Carolina Mutual Life Ins. Co. and Fairway Outdoor Advertising among a host of others, attendees will probably be treated to a fair amount of banner printing, flyer printing, poster printing, and similar top notch printing services.
Even so, this afternoon and evening event is sure to be edifying in more ways than one. Currently scheduled to take place at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, those attending will be privy to an open and honest discussion with government officials at all three levels of government as well as several distinguished business executives. From 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., members of Durham and the Triangle’s business community will be given the opportunity to hear what these individuals have to say and express gratitude for the supportive business environment that has been made possible through their hard work.
After the talks have concluded, the “Holiday Reception” part of the evening is scheduled to take place. The Legislative Forum & Holiday Reception is open to all but as is to be expected, non-members are asked to pay $60 while Chamber members will receive a bit of a discount at $45. Although interested individuals have the opportunity to register online, it’s best to sign up as soon as possible. December 6th is closer than it seems and seats tend to go quickly at these events.
