Burger 21 among franchise opportunities at Raleigh Expo
June 18, 2013 by Mark
Durham entrepreneurs who attended the Raleigh Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo on at the start of the month probably made a special effort to investigate Burger 21.
With 21 franchised units on the eastern seaboard from New York to Florida, Front Burner Brands, Burger 21’s management company is planning on making a big push into the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. This will be a great opportunity for those looking for this type of business opportunity to get in at the bottom of what may grow into the next great restaurant chain.
Burger 21 expects to open its first North Carolina unit the end of July in Charlotte. The company hopes to find enough qualified potential franchisees at the Expo to fuel its planned expansion in the Research Triangle area. At least five locations are planned at present and interested parties are encouraged to stop at Booth #104 and meet Burger 21’s franchise development team. In order to qualify, candidates will be expected to have a net worth of at least $500,000 with $200,000 in liquid assets per unit. Total outlay per restaurant will be between $414,495 and $831,995 depending on the location. Among the questions prospective franchisees will want answers to will be advertising expenses and the role local printing companies are expected to play in promotions.
In addition to its presence at the Expo, Burger 21 is hosting a webinar live on June 27 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. For registration or more information go to www.burger21franchise.com/events.aspx or call 813-425-6252 and talk to Ashley Pollard.
