Wine, food, and arts festival comes to Symphony Park

June 3, 2012 by

Just as the summer ends and nature starts to flaunt her richest and most colorful hues, the temperature begins to drop and then it is the perfect time for festivals. This year Symphony Park, located right next to South Park Mall on the southside of Charlotte, will be the setting for the Great Grapes Wine, Arts & Food Festival. The event will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2012.

Great Grapes is the most significant, casual wine tasting in the Charlotte area. There will be hundreds of wines for participants to sample as they casually move from table to table and from tent to tent. In order to mark or label the vintage offerings and aid participants in distinguishing the various tents, poster printing and flyer printing might be in order.

If wine tasting is not something that appeals to some, there will be much more entertainment for the entire family including kids’ activities. From 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, the public is invited to set up their chairs and spread their blankets on the green lawn as they enjoy an entire day filled with live entertainment.

According to a tentative schedule, Phillip Bray will be providing music for the wine sipping from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. The Piedmont Boys will perform from 12:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Then, the ever-popular Bull City Syndicate band will take the stage from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
