Westin Charlotte puts on its New Year bash

December 3, 2013 by

Charlotte residents have an opportunity to attend a fun New Year’s Eve Extravaganza. There will be food, music, and cocktails along with an uptown countdown. It is likely to be the event to be at for anyone 21 or over who wants to mingle with socialites.

Various music styles will form part of the event. In the La Rumba Ballroom, there will be a mix of salsa and Latina music. The Venetian Ballroom will feature two guest DJs and a mixture of top 40, pop, and hip-hop music.

Since plenty of socialites are supposed to attend the NYE extravaganza, this is a great opportunity for networking. Those in attendance can make new social and business contacts. For this reason, many will no doubt be looking to purchase digital business cards for the event.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at the event’s website. General admission is $30, couples pay $50, while VIP admission is $40. This ticket includes hors d’oeuvres and access to the VIP area. Platinum packages are available too, offering access to the VIP area and complimentary drink tickets.

The tickets will be issued digitally and a photo ID is necessary for entrance. To gain admittance, guests must wear proper attire, and will not be permitted to wear baseball caps, athletic gear, sneakers, or white T-shirts.

The event takes place at the Westin Charlotte Hotel at 601 S. College Street. The festivities begin on December 31 at 9:00 pm and run into the small hours of New Year’s Day.
