Rain can’t stop NoDa from rocking

September 4, 2013 by

First scheduled for July 27 before a rainstorm dampened the festivities, NoDa Roxx is back and ready to showcase local talents. All of Charlotte and beyond is invited to support and celebrate North Davidson’s vast pool of artists, musicians, and local businesses.

The festival features several bands playing throughout the afternoon, including one for children. An interactive marketplace for artists to meet the people of Charlotte and gain new patrons is one of the main draws. Plenty of local food trucks and vendors will be present, along with a beer garden featuring NoDa’s best craft brews for adults. Field activities, both friendly and competitive, are available for the whole family.

NoDa Roxx needs the assistance of local businesses to ensure awareness of both the event and the creative minds it is supporting is generated to its fullest effect. Printing companies are an ideal way to grab the attention of Charlotte’s residents, with banner printing being a way to reach thousands in the greater Charlotte area, and flyer printing helping publicize the artists present.

North Davidson is welcoming all to come out on Sunday, September 14 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cullman Avenue Park is hosting at 3100 Cullman Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina 28206. In the event of rain this time, the Neighborhood Theatre has graciously offered it space for the festivities. Admission is free to all ages and exhibitor slots are still available. Visit NoDa Roxx’s Facebook page for more information about the day.
