Music festival promises day of fun
August 8, 2013 by Mark
Area 15’s 2nd Annual Summer Love Music and Arts Festival provides exposure for the Charlotte area’s talented musicians and artists. A pair of fashion shows and a cornhole tournament are sure to be highlights, along with full sets from several bands and DJs. Many of the community’s up-and-coming crafters and artisans will have sales booths during the event. Attendees can expect unique designs, custom works of art, colorful music from the two stages, great food, and cold beer.
The festival provides ample opportunity for businesses in the area to support their creative community and to receive some attention of their own. Whether as a vendor or as a sponsor, print companies can help ensure a business has what it needs to express itself appropriately in this lively venue. Flyer printing is ideal for the fast-paced format of the day, while poster printing allows for exposure to whole groups of people simultaneously.
The festivities kick off at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 10th and do not stop until 10:00 pm under the stars. Guests should head to Area 15 at 516 E. 15th St. Charlotte, NC 28026 to enter. Price of general admission is $15 for an all-day pass or $45 for VIP tickets that promise exclusive treatment and backstage access to meet the performers. Group discounts are offered, pre-order tickets are still available and all ages are welcome.
A current list of performers and an opportunity to purchase tickets can be found online, and those interested can call 704.268.9844 with any questions, or to express interest in co-sponsoring the event.
