SouthPark Mall is welcoming the residents of Charlotte and neighboring communities to its ‘Movies Under the Stars’ Summer Movie Series.

Presented by Carolinas Medical Center, visitors can enjoy all the attractions, food and amenities of SouthPark Mall with free music and a screening of Cameron Crowe’s ‘We Bought a Zoo’ on an outdoor, 30-foot screen. The film is rated PG, and all ages are welcome to attend.

SouthPark Mall’s Symphony Park provides an attractive venue for the whole family to enjoy an relaxing evening. Home to the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Park is a modern masterpiece of architecture — an open-air dome suspended over water. Charlotte’s residents are likely to arrive in droves, and local businesses can take advantage with postcard printing services and brochure printing services to ensure this opportunity does not pass them by. Sharing materials with some of the vendors providing the night’s services is one way to increase the chances of marketing finding the guests.

Guests are advised to arrive early and enjoy SouthPark Mall’s shopping and dining experiences while awaiting the feature presentation. Live music will precede the showing and concessions stands will line the grounds. The film starts at dusk, and food and beverages are permitted within the Symphony’s bounds.

Festivities begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 16, at the Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall, 4400 Sharon Road Charlotte, NC 28211. Admission and parking is free. Call 704.941.2557 with any inquiries or visit the ‘Charlotte’s Got A Lot’ website for more information and directions.
