Now that summer has officially arrived, many couples will finally implement the plans for their wedding that they have long anticipated. As many people know, now is the time of year in which most weddings take place. One element of a wedding that cannot be planned for too soon is the wedding cake and residents who plan to tie the knot, and live in Charlotte or neighboring cities, will have an opportunity to do just that.

The 2nd Annual Grand Wedding Cakes Bridal Show and Cake Competition will take place on July 15, starting at 1:00 pm and running for three hours, at Marriot Executive Park, located at 5700 West Park Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. At this event, bakers will engage in a competition to come up with the most impressive wedding cake. There will be a select judging panel, including brides and a guest judge, Deb McCoy, who will vote to determine which cake is the best.

At the event, the brides will be able to meet vendors who are responsible for making their dream wedding a real wedding. As the event will be open to the public, vendors may choose to invest in business card printing to further promote their services.

For the enjoyment of the visitors and competitors, there will be food, fun games, fashion, and lots of valuable prizes such as Visa Gift Card, bridal bouquet, jewelry, and gift baskets. The grand prize will be a free wedding cake.

Admission is $5 if preregistering and $10 on the day.
