A will can be an important legal document, and during an event that has been planned for Charlotte, the public will have a chance to find out more about estate planning in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Michael Pascale, who is an attorney with many years of experience in the field, will be facilitating a workshop with Jonathan Barber that combines wine and wills. He will discuss a variety of topics, including what happens if someone passes away without a will, whether or not free versions found online are effective and also what trusts are and ow they can be used.

Along with the discussion about estate planning, those who attend will have an opportunity to sample four different wines. Each attendee will also be eligible to receive a voucher for 10% off services in this field, and they will not be charged the usual consultation fee. According to the organizers, as a limited number of seats are available, those who are interested should sign up early. A printer can prepare presentation folders that can hold documents for distribution during an informational session such as this.

The Wine and Wills workshop has been planned for May 30 at Total Wine, which is located at 1600 East Woodlawn Road in Charlotte. More information can be found on its listing on the ‘Charlotte’s Got a Lot’ website.
