Charlotte Chamber members have at least two events to look forward to

The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce will be hosting at least two events that local business owners may have an interest in attending.
Starting on the 8th of February, the Ballantyne chapter will be hosting a Survive & Thrive Breakfast called “The How To’s of Social Media”. Taken from the site:
“Your first impression is your lasting impression. Do you know how to create a landing page on Facebook, create a custom background for Twitter, or update your LinkedIn to get the most visibility? Join the Ballantyne chapter as they explore the ‘how to’s’ of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.” (sic.)
With the increasing emphasis being placed on accessibility and interaction, social media represents an opportunity that businesses haven’t seen since the development of digital business cards . Being hosted at the Ballanytne Country Club, local professionals can come at 7:30 am and leave with information to ponder at 9:00 am.
On February 9th, 2012 there’s a luncheon being held at Hilton Charlotte University Place. Going by the title “Governor’s Village: How Can the Business Get Involved”, it’s safe to say that there’s more to this event than initially meets the eye. With the luncheon starting at 11:30 am and going on until 1:00 pm, business owners can’t go wrong putting in an appearance at this one.
Of course, these events are just two of many that Charlotte Chamber of Commerce members can participate in. In light of the fact that registration is available through the site, local professionals can easily make a choice and go from there.
