Chamber Candidates Forum among April highlights

April 2, 2012 by

Members of Charlotte’s business community have a busy month ahead with the SouthPark Chapter Lunch and the Chamber Candidates Forum both coming up later in the month.

According to the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce website, the SouthPark Chapter Lunch on the 10th is going to be headed in a fun direction, with Kym Houghham of the Wells Fargo Championship giving prospects information on the upcoming PGA tournament. Over the course of this talk, Mr. Houghham is going to be discussing the details of this event, such as the players and where the tournament is going to be, as well as giving people a chance to get involved.

With volunteer opportunities available, this is a great chance for residents to get involved. Once again held at Maggiano’s Little Italy, members are invited to come out and enjoy a fantastic meal while hearing more about the tournament.

While it might not come with the kind of banner printing that people tend to associate with golf tournaments, the April 19th Chamber Candidates Forum still looks to be an event worth attending. As most professionals are well aware, there’s no denying the impact that government and its regulations have on the private sector.

During this Chamber Candidates Forum, business owners will be hearing from District 9’s Primary Candidates. Available to both current members of the Charlotte Chamber and those who haven’t yet applied, this is a great chance for everyone to be involved with the political process as a whole.

Residents are invited to visit the chamber and see what this is all about.
