Amazing foods and colorful history showcased in Charlotte

June 5, 2013 by

The Tour De Food is an exciting and eclectic event lighting up the North Davidson Art District, which is lovingly known as ‘NoDa’ by the locals.

Located in the heart of Charlotte, the Tour De Food is a prime opportunity for businesses to gain a bit of exposure. For example, they could work with banner printing companies and use flyer printing services to gain exposure to a vast number of attendees at and around the Tour De Food.

On the day, attendees will start out at the local Heist Brewery and walk between as many as seven local establishments. Each visitor will have the opportunity to sample dishes and speak with the artisan chefs who created them.

Gumbo, wine, pastries, beer, and exotic coffees are just a few of the treats each visitor will experience. During the stroll through NoDa itself, the Tour De Food guide will educate attendees on the history of this beautiful city.

Walkers should bring weather appropriate clothing, as the Tour De Food will go on rain or shine. The cost of admission covers all foods and drinks that each attendee will sample. It is strongly recommended to come with an empty stomach, as the tour provides enough food for most guests to leave full and satisfied until dinner.

The Tour De Food is on June 15, starting at 12:30 pm. Arriving about 15 minutes early is recommended to allow for time to check in. It is open to people of all ages and general admission is just under $50.
