Santa starts the Savannah weekend

December 18, 2013 by

Savannah folk can see in the last weekend before Christmas with ‘An Evening with Santa’. A chance for families to share some quality time together, it is just the sort of event for which services like poster printing are often used to get the word out to the community and the surrounding regions.

This year, Santa Claus is planning to make a special trip to this venue to have his picture taken with children and pets. Guests will enjoy a strolling walk through the enchanted lit pathways, can take part in a hayride around the perimeter of the park, join in with the cookie decorating festivities, make some holiday crafts just right for the season, and enjoy sipping on some savory hot chocolate. Pictures will be taken with Santa, although parents are reminded to bring a camera to capture the other special memories that occur. The cost to have a picture of child or pet taken with Santa Claus is $5 per person, hayrides costs $2 per person, and parking is $5 per car. All kids at the event must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission to this event is free, and everyone is invited. The Luminary Night with Santa will be happening on Friday, December 20, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Skidway Island State Park located at 52 Diamond Crossway in Savannah, Georgia. To learn more about this event, please visit the Skidway Island State Park website or call the office during normal business hours.
