State art fest to stop twice in Roswell

Organisers have confirmed that the 2013 North Georgia Art Ramble will visit Roswell twice.

It is a self-guided tour which takes art enthusiasts to more than 40 galleries and studios in 14 cities and towns in the region. Brochure printers are likely to have already ensured that anyone can plot their own route successfully.

It is the second running of the event, with organisers hopeful it will become a regular fixture on the annual calendar.

The Roswell locations covered include The Roswell Clay Collective. Located at Roswell Art Center West, at 1355 Woodstock Road, it should also be ideal for those on the lookout for a holiday bargain, as it hosts its seasonal sale.

Elsewhere in Roswell, art ramblers will visit Cowgirl Studios, which is located in Suite B at 31 Oak Street. Visitors will be entertained with four artists giving talks and demonstrating the techniques used in their work.

With over 70 artists taking part in the whole event, the Ramble will also visit the likes of Calhoun, Jasper, and Woodstock.

Taking place on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, the event will be open from 10:00 am, through 6:00 pm on both days.

There will also be a pre-Ramble party at the Cherokee Arts Center in Canton on Friday December 6. The center will also host an exhibit connected to the Ramble from Friday, which will last throughout the month. All participating artists will have a sample of their work on display.
