Local businesses needed for Youth Day Festival
August 5, 2012 by Mark
Roswell‘s local businesses are being urged to sign up to become vendors at this year’s Annual Frances McGahee Youth Day Festival.
The 62nd festival gets underway on Saturday, October 13, with the event always a popular occasion for the local youth and their families. The success, as ever, depends on the help of local businesses and professionals.
All vendors taking part are asked to provide free entertainment, gifts and other activities to help the day go as well as possible. It also provides the perfect opportunity to get great advertising for your company, so participants may need to order a few extra business card printing runs.
Any entertainment and activity suitable for kids will be welcome. Popular attractions over recent years has seen vendors setting up face painting stalls, cookery lessons and cake and cookie decorating classes.
There have also been giveaways and competitions which have proved popular, whilst even simple board games and ball tosses get everyone going.
The festival takes place at the Roswell Area Park, on 10495 Woodstock Park. It runs all day and is always a highlight for the area and its residents.
Any vendors wishing to take part pay an all inclusive fee of $100, checks for which should be made payable to the City of Roswell.
The festival is a great way to promote your business, and also give a little back to the community. With stalls able to be decorated as each company sees fit, it could well be time to make sure new poster and banner printing runs really make your organization stand out.
