Registration open for Peachtree City music camp
June 28, 2012 by James
Budding young singers, musicians, and performers in the Peachtree City community are being invited to celebrate song, as registration opens for a July music camp. The event is now in its fifth year, with the previous four events having enjoyed great success.
Previous years have always been well attended by local kids, with parents happy in the knowledge that they are having good, wholesome fun during the early summer vacation. There has no doubt been plenty of advertising of the event locally, with poster printing and leaflet printing always good for getting community events noticed.
Any child between the ages of 5 – 11 is welcome to attend the camp, which runs on the second week of the month.
Speaking about this year’s music camp, directors of the event Jessica Greiner and Shannon Bryan are clearly excited and emphasized the camp’s focus on voice, strings, and rhythm.
Registration is now open through the music camp’s own website and those who registered before Monday June 25 were able to claim a free T-shirt.
This year’s music camp takes place at the All Saints Anglican Church, on 225 South Peachtree Parkway. It runs from 9:00 am through 12:00 pm each day, from Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13. A pre-camp orientation takes place Saturday July 7 at 3:00 pm.
At the end of the week, all parents and friends of the kids taking part will be invited to a “grand finale.” Taking place from noon on July 13, there will also be a graduation presentation to recognize individual achievements.
