Friday 13 comes good for Newnan businesses

Friday 13 may be an auspicious date for some folks but, for Newnan, it proved to be a welcome event.

The arrival of The 11Alive News Today Where U Live morning show tour helped raise the profile of the city. The final day of the tour saw businesses, families, and city officials turn out in force at the Coweta County Courthouse.

With many businesses owners taking the opportunity to print posters, it was a great way to show just what an excellent place Newnan is to live and work. Taking advertising and marketing seriously is something all local businesses need to do and, when events like Friday’s come along, this can be wonderfully delivered with business cards.

Today, business card printing is often very different to what people may imagine it to be. With modern techniques and new approaches, cards can really help make an impression with potential clients. Modern business cards are far removed from a piece of card simply conveying a person’s name, work address, and phone number. Today, they also usually include the company website, social networking tags, and cell number among other things. With so much information, getting the design right is essential.

QR codes are a great way to allow customers instant and easy access to your website, for example. Used well, they can also help a card to remain in better condition. This new innovation is also ideal for flyer and poster printing.

Appearing on TV is a great way to get noticed but, from a long-term perspective, other options may offer more flexibility to businesses.
