Winter spirit kindled through classic tale

December 9, 2013 by

‘It’s a Wonderful Life’, a classic Christmas story adapted to the stage by Mary Binaco, is an offering for the whole family to come out and enjoy this holiday season. The producer may have used poster printing and flyer printing to tell people in this community about what’s in store.

This is an original stage adaptation of the classic holiday story, written by Frank Capra back in the 1940s, and tells the tale of George Bailey, a family man, whose world crumbles around him after a large sum of money is misplaced.

In the tale, George is blessed by a miracle on Christmas Eve as he is sent an angel named Clarence to assist him and make him see what a wonderful life he truly has. George revisits some of his past and also journeys into his future to learn about all the people that love him in his life and come to his rescue when needed.

This family favorite will no doubt be enjoyed by people of all ages – especially since Binaco is a resident of Marietta. Tickets for the show are priced at $10 per person.

The heartwarming tale of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ will be performed from Friday, December 13, until Sunday, December 15, at 2:30 pm at the Marietta Church of God, Chapel Stage in Building B, located at 1083 Allgood Road in Marietta, Georgia.
