Kennesaw job fairs attracting higher numbers

With news of another slight dip in the country’s economy, it is no surprise that job fairs in Kennesaw and the immediate metro Atlanta area are attracting higher numbers of folks.

A recent job fair at the new Trampoline Park saw lines forming from early in the day. As the poster printing for the event testified to, the initial search was for just 80 people to fill a number of temporary positions.

However, it is thought likely that the three-day event from January 9 – 11 will be the start of some more permanent careers.

Another job fair, this time for Northside Hospital was so successful, it had to be cut short.

Taking place in mid-January at the Marriott hotel, the line had to be cut off when numbers lining for the event totaled 2,000. So well-populated was the job line, that both the Peachtree-Dunwoody Road and I-285 were effectively gridlocked.

With another drive taking place at Atlanta zoo next week, on Wednesday February 6, this time for seasonal spring jobs, many more people will hopefully be lucky in their quest for employment.

It shows that there really is a great compulsion by people in and around Atlanta to find a job, as well as a great deal of work being done by more local Kennesaw organizations to provide positions.

Local printing companies are always on hand to help too, from producing flyers and other stationery, to readying the business card printing presses for when the position has been confirmed.
