Attend the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner

December 28, 2011 by

The Cobb Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 70th annual dinner on January 28 from 6:30 pm. The event will be held in the John A. Williams Ballroom at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Tickets are $150 and tables for 10 are available; dress is black tie optional.

The annual dinner will start off with a brief reception, followed by dinner, speeches and a musical performance from the band Prime. The dinner will celebrate the successes of current Chamber Chairman Rob Garcia who will be stepping down in favour of Tony Britton.

At the reception prior to dinner members of the Chamber will have a chance to network with their peers from all over the county including Kennesaw. Arranging for extra business card printing is recommended before attending this event; this is the biggest event of the Cobb Chamber season and the perfect opportunity to network with people who may not attend the numerous networking events presented by the Chamber throughout the year or have attended different events than you have.

A membership with your local Chamber of Commerce is one of the smartest things you can do as a small business owner. They provide networking opportunities, educational opportunities and easier access to government agencies. They also provide discounts on things such as health insurance and business supplies. Members of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce are also eligible for the annual Small Business of the Year award. Members are also listed in the Chamber’s online business directory.
