Main Street Market Day arrives
August 16, 2012 by Mark
The third Fayetteville Market Day of the year comes to town this Saturday, August 18, with many local vendors and businesses presenting their products and services in an eye-catching display.
One highlight of the event sees a selection of wholly organic vegetables being brought to market by a number of individuals simply growing the products in their own backyards. There will also be a vast range of other homegrown and homemade items to tempt visitors.
From organic boiled peanuts to homemade breads, kettle popcorn to fresh squeezed lemonade, and even delicious jellies and delightful jewelry, there truly is something for everyone. Excellently priced, they are sure to prove popular, so it is wise that vendors ensure they get their stationery and flyer printing up to scratch to really take advantage.
As much as the fine products on offer will prove popular, so will the local entertainment that will be provided through the day. With local favorite Sean McGuire making an appearance, folks are surely going to be impressed with what is offered.
Poster printing has been taking place to advertise the day but, now a regular summer fixture, it is likely to be well-attended in any case. Growing in size each year, it is a celebration of all things Fayetteville.
The Market Day opens on August 18 at 10:00 am and runs through to 2:00 pm. Vendors wanting to take part may still be able to get a stall or certainly secure a place for events later in the year. Interested parties simply need to visit the Main Street Booth.
