Run to help the homeless planned for Duluth area

A run has been planned for the Duluth area that will provide support to agencies that help homeless people throughout the state, and everyone is invited to lace up their sneakers and hit the pavement to help make the event a huge success.

The Dare to Care team will see runners taking part in either a five-kilometer race or a fun run, and awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each of the age categories that have been set up. Along with the fresh air and exercise, those who participate in the day will also have an opportunity to win one of the door prizes that will be awarded, and there will be entertainment, snacks, and much more to enjoy.

According to the organizers of the function, they are interested in hearing from local businesses, organizations, and individuals that are keen to sponsor the race. Four different levels are available, and all contributions and gifts in kind will be appreciated. A printer can be called upon to provide an assortment of branded promotional products that can be included in swag bags to be given to each runner or walker in an event like this.

The Dare to Care Run for Georgia’s Homeless has been planned for June 17 in Lawrenceville’s Tribble Mill Park. Additional details can be found on the Explore Gwinnet website.
