MAC members have busy October ahead

October 1, 2012 by

The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MAC) is once again going to be active leading into October with several workshops and a networking event taking place fairly quickly in the month.

This time around, the action begins on October 10 with ‘Global Business Series: Building an Export Finance Strategy’. Beginning at 7:30 am, this is the perfect workshop for business owners who are seriously weighing their options when it comes to expanding into other markets. Over the course of this program, a panel of qualified experts will be addressing the practical aspects of doing business with clients from around the world.

Chamber members may want to consider the merits of stocking up on professional-quality business card printing with a Business to Business Mixer being held on October 16. Starting at 5:30 pm and wrapping up at around 7:00 pm, there is something to be said for getting to know prospective business partners and clients. Reserved exclusively for members and limited in terms of space, this is the perfect opportunity for business professionals to focus on connecting with one another. With Dave Stockert of Post Properties as the host, there are plenty of reasons to get excited about the networking possibilities here.

The following day, the next installment of the Business Model Education Series is going under the official title “Business Model Generation: 9 Building Blocks and the Canvas They Create”. Going from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, this is going to be the first of several weekly workshops being held this month.
