Chamber workshop to focus on e-commerce
July 3, 2012 by James
Once again, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce has taken the initiative in making sure that its members have access to at least a couple of information-filled events throughout the month. Starting with a workshop which has been designed with the intention of helping decision-makers learn more about how to tap into the Chinese market, then ending with another workshop on managing interviews, it is very clear that Atlanta business owners have options available to them this month.
Things kick off July 13 with “How to Sell to Chinese Customers through E-Commerce.” As most people already know, the combination of digital business cards and updated websites is a potent one that would not be possible if it weren’t for the resources available on the Internet.
Over the course of this workshop, decision-makers from retailers like Alibaba.com, Export Now, and Tmall.com will be talking about how China is becoming a major market for online sales. Starting fairly early in the morning with an official time of 8:00 am, this one is going to be full of information that can be applied to a number of situations.
A little less than a week later, on the July 19, the Chamber will be hosting the next segment of “How to Get Free Media and PR, a What to Do Once You Get It.” Also being hosted in the morning, the topic of this workshop is going to be addressing the subject of handling radio interviews. Put simply, this is another one for which it will be worth keeping an eye out.
