Chamber of Commerce hosting several events this December

The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MAC) is going to be active this month. Kicking things off December 7th, 2011, the Chamber of Commerce will be holding a forum where the theme will revolve around the use of technology in doing business.

As per the website:

“The Metro Atlanta Chamber has spent the last year assessing the workforce in technology, finding that companies have needs that have not been met with the local workforce. Come hear technology industry leaders discuss needs in cluster areas like health IT, cyber security and wireless.”

Featuring a keynote speech to be delivered by the distinguished Mr. Stanley S. Litow, there’s going to be a lot more discussed than the use of technology with local businesses. According to the flyer printing that’s undoubtedly visible at the Chamber, attendees will also be treated to a “roundtable discussion”.

Taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., this event is free to all and will undoubtedly be a worthwhile experience.

The second major event local business professionals need to watch for is the Chamber’s Atlanta Sports Council Year Networking Event.

Those planning to be present will have to take special care to bring nothing but the best of their business card printing to this evening event.

For this gathering, members are allowed to enter free while non-members will be asked to pay $50.00. With online registration available for both events and the clear opportunities for getting to know other working professionals, these are two calendar dates to have circled.
