Atlanta Chamber has ambitious plans for June

June 1, 2012 by

The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce is offering a wide variety of events to locals with a PR and reputation management seminar, as well as a pitching workshop and a power networking luncheon listed on the calendar.

From a member perspective, the closest of these events is the first June installment of the chamber’s “Business Growth Strategies Media Series.” With these meetings being held on both June 14 and 21, business owners and other professionals will be able to come in and learn about free PR as it relates to blogs and the radio, as well as the basics of formulating a pitch. Whether looking closely at how such printing services as digital business cards can be used or working on a networking essential, it is well worth preparing for the content at these workshops.

Speaking of pitch development, Chris Hanks and Jim Beach, of UGA Terry College of Business and School for Startups respectively, are going to unveil their slightly unorthodox approach during the next “Value Proposition that Drives Sales” meet-up. Taking place on June 26 and going from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, this is another event where company decision makers won’t want to miss out.

Things get even more interesting with the chamber hosting this month’s Power Networking Lunch the following day. Priced at the mere cost of $12 for members and $50 for guests, the convenience of the 11:30 am to 1:00 pm is an aspect of this meeting that can’t be overlooked. Interested individuals can register through the chamber’s website.
