Take a trip to celebrate the dogs in Orlando

December 12, 2012 by

For many people, their love of the family dog extends to dressing them up, teaching them tricks, and buying them the latest in trendy accessories. Some dog owners also like to have their purebred dogs compete in various dog shows. Celebrate Dogs Orlando will allow them to do all of the above.

The event, which is presented by Eukanuba Dog Food and the American Kennel Club, offers plenty of competition, activities and products for dog lovers. The will be two types of judging, condensed and detailed, in which dogs will be judged on aspects of their breed. There will also be agility and obedience demonstrations, entertainment, an assistance dog demonstration, a police/military dog demonstration, Superdogs, Dock Dogs, and the Canine Shopping mall. Several celebrities will also be in attendance, including mascot Euka and a couple of dogs last seen on major U.S. television shows.

Vendors at the show will be selling anything and everything related to dogs. No doubt they will be coming from all over the area, including nearby Winter Park, to sell their goods. They might want to arrange for such services as banner printing and sign printing from local printing companies to make sure their booth is noticeable to passers-by.

Celebrate Dogs Orlando will take place at the Orange County Convention Center from December 15 – 18 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and youth, and $5 for children.
