January 29, 2012 by

The Rotary Club of Winter Park are presenting “Chili for Charity” at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on February 23 from 5:30-8 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Net proceeds will go to support the Rotary Club of Winter Park Foundation.

Those taking part will be local restaurants and caterers including the Winter Park Fish Company, Arthur’s Catering and The Bistro on Park. They will compete for several awards such as the Judge’s Award, the People’s Choice Award and Best Booth Award. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. In additions to chilli, the event will feature live musical entertainment from Papa Jack Express, a live auction, drinks and desserts.

The Rotary Club of Winter Park Foundation donates funds to over 30 local charities and has raised over $640,000 over the past twenty years.

There are several levels of sponsorships available for “Chili for Charity” ranging in price from $150 to $5000. No matter which level they choose, all sponsors will be named in the literature associated with the event and on the webpage. Sponsoring local charity events in Winter Park is an excellent way to get your company or store known in the area. Printing companies can help you let your customers know that you are taking part in local events; a low-cost flyer sent out to all those on your mailing list will ensure that they come out to support such a worthwhile event.
