Vero Beach to offer pirate and fairy fun

April 11, 2017 by

Pirates will soon be setting sail for Vero Beach, but there is no reason to worry, as it will all be part of the community’s seventh annual Fairy and Pirate Festival.

Children from across the area are invited to put on their fairy wings and eyepatches and be ready for fun. Lots of activities have been planned for the day, and all of them will be aligned with the event’s theme. It will be held in the McKee Botanical Garden, which the organizers will transform into a fairy tale land for the day.

Those who come out will be able to build their own fairy house using natural materials that have been collected in the garden. A maypole will be erected to dance around, and kids can stop to make a wish at the wishing bush. There will also be games, face painting, crafts, temporary tattoos and fairy manicures for the children, and light refreshments will be served. Communities can use newsletter printing services to create bulletins that let people know what when an activity like this is going on in their local area.

The event, which will be family friendly, has been planned for May 13 in Vero Beach’s McKee Botanical Garden. Additional details, as well as an opportunity to discover other events that are happening in the local area, can be found on the Vero Beach Magazine website.
