Vero Beach park set to go green for another year

January 6, 2017 by

Gardenfest is set to return to Vero Beach for another year, and all local green thumbs are invited to attend.

This will be the 16th year for the event, which celebrates all things related to gardening. Experts will be on hand to offer tips and advice, and there will also be vendor displays, food, activities for the kids, and much more.

People will be able to browse through exhibits that will be set up by over 85 different landscaping related businesses and service providers, who will be demonstrating and selling everything from pots to outdoor furniture, fountains, lighting, and other products. Plants, such as bromeliads, orchids, roses, bamboo, and herbs will also be available for purchase, with a special emphasis being placed on species that are native to Florida. Anyone who plans on taking part can use business card printing services to create business cards and other promotional products that include their contact information to distribute during this type of trade show.

The 16th annual Vero Beach Gardenfest has been scheduled for February 5 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm in Riverside Park. There is no admission fee, and plenty of free parking is available for the day.

Anyone who would like to find out more or is interested in setting up a plant or garden related display during the event is asked to visit the Garden Club of Indian River County’s website.
