Get tropical in Vero Beach

The 35th annual Tropical Night Luau will take place at the Quail Valley River Club on June 2 from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Tickets are $75 when purchased before May 31 and $85 after. Tropical dress is suggested with all proceeds going to support Youth Guidance.
This year, the luau will feature island-inspired food, steel drums, leis, dancing to the Brass Evolution Band, networking, a cash bar, and a live auction of donated items. Sponsorships are available from $500 to $3,000, with all sponsors getting a mention in the event program and at a slideshow during the event. They will also receive two tickets. In addition, an option is available to sponsor a kid’s one-week camp stay for $75. Most likely, Vero Beach printing companies will be helping the organizers of the event get in the tropical mood by offering banner printing and poster printing services. The tropical theme can be heightened by adding colorful banners featuring island themes and dramatic posters which help to evoke the feeling of the tropics.
Formed in 1973, Youth Guidance is funded by Indian River County, the United Way, and public donations. The organization offers camp scholarships, mentoring, and year-round programs which are designed to raise the self esteem of children. As we know, children are the adults of the future and they will be the ones continuing on our legacy, so it’s only right that they are given the right start and are taught to value themselves. They will make much better business leaders and community organizers if they are given that right start.
