Festival of Trees branches out into the holidays
November 12, 2013 by Max
The 16th annual Festival of Trees weekend is returning to Vero Beach this November.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Joy on the Treasure Coast’, and it is set to include decorated trees, wreaths, a gingerbread village, a Christmas Shoppe, and a Kids Korner. It will offer a chance for visitors to enjoy some beautifully decorated items while picking up some last minute holiday gifts. Children will get to take part in many fun and enjoyable activities that will no doubt help make them even more excited about the upcoming holiday.
Several extra activities are also planned for the weekend, including a gala preview party and a community songfest. The former of these will feature the lighting of the trees, with tickets priced at $150 or $75 for those aged 35 and under, while the latter offers performances from several local choirs and a holiday cabaret.
All of these events will probably be highly advertised in the Vero Beach area. Organizers of such events often turn to local printing companies to provide them with marketing material,s such as brochures and flyers.
The Festival of the Trees is taking place at the Riverside Children’s Theatre from November 23-24 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Admission is $8 for adults and $3 for students. The gala preview party will be held on November 22 beginning at 6:30 pm, while the songfest is set for November 23 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. To find out more about the festival, call 772-234-8052.
