Celebrate a county Christmas in Vero Beach
November 10, 2012 by Mark
The 2nd annual Florida Cracker Christmas, presented by the Blue Ribbon Charitable Foundation, will take place at the Heritage Center on December 8 this year. There will be plenty to do during the evening, with country music performances by bands such as The Old Barber Bridge to since and dance along to, in addition to a cash bar, silent auction, and a country dinner.
It will be a good way to celebrate a good old-fashioned Christmas while raising money for an important local charity. It will also be an opportunity for guests to meet people in the area who are just as dedicated to helping animals as they are.
Local businesses will no doubt be donating items to be sold at the silent auction. They might want to let the community know about this by working with Vero Beach printing companies to provide them with such services as flyer printing. A flyer can then promote the fact the business has donated to the event, thus showing their support for the community in which they live and work.
The Blue Ribbon Charitable Foundation raises money for worthy causes related to animals. One of the initiatives of the Indian River County Pet Medical Assistance Program was raising money to provide bulletproof vests for all police dogs in Indian River County.
With the event scheduled for 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm, tickets are $75 and proceeds will benefit the Indian River County Pet Medical Assistance Program. For more information, call 772-562-1357.
