Waterside just the right place for art

The Harbour Island Art Walk, which usually takes place on the last Sunday of each month, will be held on September 2 and September 30 this time around, from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm each day. This is a free event and, every month, proceeds go towards a local children’s charity.
The Art Walk highlights Florida artists working in a variety of media, such as oils, photography, fiber, watercolors, glass, jewelry, metal, and clay. It is the perfect opportunity for the public to discover new and up-and-coming artists in their community. It will also be a chance for artists to showcase their newest works, to sell some art, and to possibly gain some new commissions. In addition to the art, there will be musical entertainment, food and drinks from area restaurants, and occasional charity auctions. Several non-profit organizations will also be in attendance to provide information to the community and to solicit donations or gain volunteers.
Artists wanting to be exposed at the event would be wise to contact Tampa printing companies to take advantage of their business card printing services. Many artists use business cards to display a sample of their work to interested people along with all the necessary contact information. The cards can then be handed out to interested parties or placed in a bag along with an art purchase. This ensures that the card will be seen by more than one person and might possibly result in future work for the artist.
