Network with your business peers in Tampa

The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce holds several events throughout the year called “Emerge,” which introduce the business community to various organizations and companies. These events often include tours of businesses or talks presented by the owners of those businesses.

Two Emerge events will take place this July. On July 12, chamber members and non-members can learn about Tampa Bay’s “The Buzz” at Jackson‘s Bistro from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. This event is free for chamber members or $5 for non-members. There will be appetizer and drink specials offered. On July 25, a Cigar City Brewery event will be on offer from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for chamber members and $10 for non-members, which includes one free beer and a souvenir glass. Joey Redner, the owner and founder of the Cigar City Brewery, will tell the story of the brewery and its success, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery.

Both of these events, and the other Emerge events, are great networking opportunities for business leaders in Tampa. Those planning to attend are probably going to be arranging for new business card printing orders so that they will have enough cards to hand out during the events. Most likely, different people will be drawn to each event in July. Since networking opportunities are often less plentiful during the summer, those who can attend both events would be wise to do so. They can get the jump on the fall, when everyone will be back from holidays and will be ready to work on growing their referral networks again.
