The University of Tampa Fellows Forum will take place at the David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts on February 21 from 7:15-9:30 am. Tickets are $40 and a continental breakfast will be served. Proceeds go to support the University of Tampa Board of Fellows Endowed Scholarship to the John H. Sykes College of Business.

The event will feature a panel of Tampa CEOs who will share their perspectives on the current state of business in the Tampa Bay Area. The speakers will be William J. Gilbane from Gilbane Building Company, James T. Prokopanko of the Mosaic Company and Dave McCurdy from the American Gas Association.

Local Tampa area businesses can help to sponsor this event. Those who do will have their company name highlighted on the website and at the event; they will also receive free tickets to the event for several of their employees. No doubt local printing companies will provide posters, signs or banners which will let everyone in attendance know the part sponsors played in the successful running of the event.

The economy today is going through one of the most difficult times in recent memory. Business leaders who are struggling to understand the challenges they currently face can learn from each other. The three men speaking at the Fellows Forum have faced the same challenges as all other business leaders and want to share their experiences and perspective on doing business in Tampa in order to help others cope.
