Have fun with your pooch at Woofstock

The 2nd annual Woofstock will take place at the Sawgrass Sanctuary on February 4 from 10 am-4 pm. This free event is sponsored by the City of Sunrise Leisure Services Department. Doggie treat bags will be handed out to the first 500 admitted.

Everyone loves their dog and Woofstock is a good event to show off your pet. There will be contests such as Grooviest Threads, Gnarliest Trick and Most Righteous Kisser. Those who do not have a dog already will be able to adopt one too. There will be vendors selling anything dog-related from treats to toys to clothing at Woofstock. There will also be booths set up by non-profit agencies such as the Humane Society and most likely Save the Pets, Inc.

In order to apply to become a vendor at Woofstock interested parties must pay $30 and provide either a brochure or a website link for more information. Sunrise brochure printers can work with anyone who wishes to apply and provide a brochure that describes their business. Brochures are relatively inexpensive and are definitely an investment. Those who are accepted can also hand out copies of their brochure to people who visit their booths on the day.

Pets are becoming more and more important in people’s lives; many treat them as well as they do their children. Everyone wants to pamper their pet and to show them off; Woofstock lets you do all of that and lets you experience the latest in dog-related merchandise, services and food.
