Summer offers Pompano Beach residents the joy of music

This summer, a couple of events will bring the joy of music to residents of Pompano Beach. There will be a concert by the Musici Estensi Chamber Orchestra and the continuation of Music under the Stars.
The Symphony of the America’s Summerfest is holding a series of approximately 15 concerts throughout Florida and will present the Musici Estensi Chamber Orchestra from Italy in concert this month. This will be a presentation of the Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Culture Arts Department, and American Airlines. It will take place at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center on July 19. Tickets are $10.
Then, in August, the ‘Music under the Stars’ series is will occur on its usual spot of the second Friday of the month. This time, the series will present ‘Eloquence’ in concert. As the title suggests, this concert and the others are held outdoors on the Great Lawn at Atlantic Boulevard and Pompano Beach Boulevard.
Music under the Stars will occur on the Great Lawn on August 9 beginning at 10:00 pm and is free to attend.
Both of these events offer an inexpensive way for the entire family to be exposed to music they might not otherwise listen to and to help support the local arts community. The organizers of each event have likely invested in such services as poster and flyer printing from Pompano Beach printing companies to advertise throughout the community.
