Seafood festival returns to Pompano Beach

March 19, 2014 by

The 30th annual Seafood Festival is returning to Pompano Beach for three days this April. It is presented by several local organizations, including the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from the event go to support several local community groups.

The festival will of course feature a large selection of seafood for purchase, which can be enjoyed in the open or under tents. There will also be arts and crafts for sale, a Boardwalk Bazaar and musical entertainment. Among the groups set to appear at this year’s festival are Grand Funk Railroad, Mike Pinera, and Blues Image and the Weedline Band who will all perform on the main stage. In addition, the Community Stage will present local musical groups and performers. Guests can also enjoy a drink while listening to music under a tent.

Vendors can rent booths on the Boardwalk for $325 for chamber members and $375 for non-members. Those who do may want to decorate their booths so that they stand out from those around them on Pompano Beach. This might include investing in services such as sign or banner printing.

The Seafood Festival is taking place at Pompano Pier from April 25 to 27. Admission is $15 for adults and free for those aged 12 and under if accompanied by an adult. To find out more about the festival, call 954-570-7785.
