Pompano Beach will celebrate Independence Day with a bash

June 9, 2013 by

This July Fourth will be the 237th birthday of the United States and, as usual, cities all over the country will be holding public events to celebrate. Pompano Beach is no different and will be holding a Beach Bash and Fireworks Extravaganza to celebrate.

There will be plenty of activities taking place on the afternoon of July 4 in the area. Food trucks will be in attendance to offer a variety of foods, and people even have a watermelon eating contest to get their teeth into.

There will be arts and crafts projects to take part in, bounce houses for the children, and airbrush tattoos for those who want them. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in the ‘What’s the Deal?’ game show or participate in relay races. Several local tribute bands, such as the Fourth Dimension, The Spinouts, and the Rodeo Clowns, will also be performing. As is tradition, the day will finish off with a fireworks display off the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier.

Printing companies in Pompano Beach are likely to be helping the organizers prepare for this popular event. This might mean providing them with items like banners and signs to highlight specific areas of the celebration, while business card printing might be needed by vendors at the event.

The celebration will take place on July 4 from the Fishing Pier to the Great Lawn from 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm. For more information, call 954-786-4111.
