Expo going all out to highlight women’s health

The Woman’s Health Expo is taking place in Deerfield Beach this October, hosted by the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and Broward Health North. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to the Broward Health North Comprehensive Cancer Center.

There will be much more than health information at the expo; there will also be plenty of food, shopping opportunities, demonstrations, raffles, networking opportunities and three seminars: Breast Health; Diabetes, Hypertension and Weight Management, and Wrinkle Relief.

Women can also get mammograms until 7:00 pm, the cost of which is $115 for those without insurance. Local health and wellness organizations will also likely be in attendance to provide information and assistance to the women in attendance. It should be a fun night out for Broward County women and they might even learn something to help them live a happier and healthier life.

This will also be a good chance for local businesses to sell products or services to the women in attendance. Vendor spaces are $50 each. Many of the vendors who plan to attend the health expo will likely come from the Pompano Beach area. They no doubt will also be investing in services from local printing companies to prepare, perhaps including banner printing services to draw more attention to their booths and to increase the possibility of sales.

The Woman’s Health Expo will take place at Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach on October 1 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm and is free to attend. To find out more, call 954-759-7400.
