Celebrate the holiday with a beach bash

June 24, 2012 by

The Beach Bash and Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at Pompano Beach Fishing Pier on July 4, beginning at 10:00 am. Admission is free.

There will be lots of family-friendly events in which to take part over the course of the day, including a contest of eating watermelons, arts and crafts displays and projects, bounce houses for the children, relay races, and several tribute bands will be performing for the attendees.

There will be five tribute bands in total who will take to the stage beginning at noon including Doors Alive, Turnstiles (a Billy Joel tribute band), and Never Stop Believing (a Journey tribute band). The day will finish off with a spectacular fireworks display, beginning at 9:00 PM, where guests are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets. Food will also probably be available for purchase throughout the day or a family could bring their own picnic to enjoy if they prefer.

It is very likely that Pompano Beach printing companies will be providing the organizers of the event with banner printing and other services. There are, after all, areas in the city to decorate with banners and to hang posters calling for everyone to celebrate together. The pier will no doubt be festooned with banners promoting each area and event.

The Fourth of July is a time when families should get together to celebrate their country and it is always best to celebrate outdoors with the community. The Beach Bash and Fireworks Extravaganza promises to be a great day for everyone.
