Upcoming rodeo promises entertainment for all

The Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic is taking place in Lakeland this January over two nights, sanctioned by rodeo-governing bodies PRCA and WPRA.

Visitors will be about to enjoy a variety of competitions from the comfort of their seats. It will include trick and fancy riding, bull riding, women’s and junior barrel racing, and steer wrestling. There will also be demonstrations of saddle and bare bronc riding. Several celebrity guests are set to make appearances on both nights, including Tim ‘Wild Thang’ Lepard and Team Ghostbusters and Jimmy Riffle from TV’s ‘Gator Boys’.

There are three levels of ticketing available: Gold Buckle Seats for $45, Golden Horseshoe for $25, and Silver Horseshoe for $20. Two children aged 12 and under will be admitted free with one adult ticket under the Golden and Silver Horseshoe levels.

Rodeo has its roots in Mexico and the southern United States, and enjoys popularity among many different people in South Florida. There is therefore little doubt that this event will attract visitors from all over the area, including nearby Plant City. When organizers of these types of events are planning advertising campaigns, they often turn to local printing companies to provide them with products such as posters and flyers.

The Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic is taking place at Lakeland Center in the George Jenkins Arena from January 17 to 18, beginning at 6:30 pm. For more information about the event, call 863-834-8111 or take a look at the event’s website.
