The Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic is coming to the Lakeland Center, Jenkins Arena, from January 18-19. Tickets are available for $20 for silver horseshoe seating, $25 for golden horseshoe seating, or $45 for golden buckle seating – two children are admitted free with each adult ticket.

The rodeo will feature many of the classic rodeo events, such as women’s barrel racing, bull riding, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, and steer wrestling. The Junior Barrel Race for those aged 17 and under has a $50 entry fee and winners can share in $1,500 in prize money.

There will also be other activities and entertainment, such as appearances by Tim ‘Wild Thing’ Lepard and Team Ghostriders and Jimmy Riffle from The Animal Planet television network. The Famous Tate Pro Rodeo Classic will be a great opportunity for rodeo fans to see some very exciting professional competitions and for riders to get much needed experience while competing for prize money. It will also be a great introduction to rodeo to those who have never attended the event before.

There is no doubt that this event will draw visitors from all over south Florida, including nearby Plant City. Organizers have likely contracted with local printing companies to provide them with such promotional products as flyers and posters. Posters can be hung in various areas around the city and flyers can be mailed out to everyone in a certain area, or inserted into local newspapers.
