Start celebrating Independence Day at the Shops at Winegrass

June 8, 2012 by

The Freedom Festival, presented by the Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel Noon, will be held at the Shops of Winegrass mall in Zephyrhills on July 3 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM. This is a free event.

There will be lots of family friendly activities such as a bicycle parade, watermelon and hot dog eating contests, a band competition, Mr. and Miss Firecracker pageants and a grand finale with fireworks. It’ll be the perfect was to start of this year’s Fourth of July celebrations.

Shops at Winegrass is an open-air shopping mall which features over 100 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. The stores in the mall can capitalize on the Freedom Festival by offering their customers special discounts, sales and can even provide free items such as flags to wave at the local parade on July 4 or reusable canvas bags to carry everything they plan to buy . Local printing companies, including those in nearby Plant City can help the stores prepare for the event by providing such services as flyer printing and banner printing.

The store can create a flyer to send out to the community which features a coupon to be brought into the store on that day; that way the store can also track how successful the flyer campaign has been and if they will try it again during the next big event. They can also create a banner to hang over the front of the store announcing Freedom Festival savings.

July 4 is the big holiday and the Freedom Festival looks like it will have lots to keep the family busy.
