Golf tournament to raise fund for Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce

April 9, 2013 by

The annual Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce golf tournament will take place this May.

The event is set up to raise funds for the chamber’s Foundation. Prices paid will cover green fees, breakfast, an after-golf cocktail party, and a silent auction of donated items. There will also be an awards presentation for those who come in first, second and third in the tournament. Last year’s tournament welcomed over 120 golfers and was won by freight transportation group CMX, based in Jacksonville.

There will also be lots of time during breakfast and the after party to make business connections. With that in mind, many who plan to attend will no doubt be placing a new business card printing order in advance. Players will likely come from all over, including Plant City, and they will probably want to ensure that they do not lose contact with those business peers they meet, so exchanging digital business cards could be one of the best ways to do that.

The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce golf tournament will take place at the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club on May 13 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Sponsorships are available. For more information, such as tournament fees, call 813-287-9432 or visit the Tampa Chamber of Commerce website, where registration can be completed online. The event is also still looking for sponsors, and companies who want to get involved on this front can to so online
